Unlike most other magnesium citrate powders available in the market that are not ionic, MAG365 is an ‘ionic’ solution. This is the key reason for the difference between how MAG365 magnesium citrate behaves versus other magnesium citrate powders.

A ‘fizz’ sound accompanies this process of activation and is unique to MAG365. Most other brands of magnesium citrate powders do not produce a ‘fizz’ sound when mixed with water. There is no ‘activation’, as a result the magnesium powder settles on the bottom of the glass, leaving the liquid murky and poorly blended.
You can surely do so. But we recommend consuming the prepared solution within 48 hours. After that point, the solution starts to lose its ionic properties.
Not at all, hot or even cold water is fine. MAG365 activates faster with hot water, whereas the activation process is longer with cold water, about 20 minutes. MAG365 is activated when the liquid becomes clear. Once the magnesium is activated, you can further cool the solution, and mix it with other beverages, if you desire.
Once MAG365 solution becomes clear, the magnesium has been activated. At this stage, you can mix it with any liquid of your choice. MAG365 has a natural citrusy taste and mixes well with teas, juices, smoothies, water infused with fruit, etc.

However, those with underlying kidney conditions might experience loose bowels if the dosage is exceeded. This is because excess magnesium is excreted by the kidneys and the body will try to rid itself of any excess magnesium. Some customers also report having more vivid dreams because of improvement in their sleep cycles.

The daily dose we recommend is based on the guidelines set in place by a governing body. However, be aware that everyone’s need for magnesium varies. How much you need is determined by your diet, stress-levels (magnesium is depleted in times of high stress) and life stage. If you feel you are ready to take more magnesium, then slowly increase your dose by half a teaspoon daily. When your bowels are comfortably loose, you would have reached the threshold for your magnesium requirements. To get maximum benefit of magnesium supplementation, divide your daily dosage into smaller doses throughout the day. Remember to save a dose for bedtime!
Only you can determine this! Let your symptoms guide you. You may need a higher dose of supplement initially to build up your body’s magnesium stores, before arriving at a maintenance daily dose. Stress depletes your body’s magnesium reserves making you deficient in this vital mineral. Hence, most people can benefit by taking magnesium daily.
MAG365 is safe for long-term use. You will not develop a dependency on MAG365. If you stop supplementing with magnesium without ensuring proper dietary magnesium intake, it is likely that symptoms of magnesium deficiency will resurface.
